Task: DHS HSOC Support

Client: Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

Project Description: The Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC) was formed following 9/11. As the center grew, DHS had a need for System Operators and IT Professionals to provide for improved information sharing among historically stove-piped organizations and systems. In September 2004, ProSol was asked to quickly provide qualified individuals with the appropriate TS/SCI security clearances to fill key positions at the center. ProSol employees facilitated the flow of threat information between the DHS, State, and local agencies. We identified critical, time-sensitive information, ensured proper routing of information, and managed the migration of information between the various DHS stakeholders. Our team provided support to the DHS Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) with a dual role in Help Desk Support and Message Handling. Our employees played a critical role in the DHS infrastructure ensuring Continuity of Operations (COOP) and access to information in case of disaster.
