ProSol Awarded Major TSA Contract
ProSol was recently awarded a contract to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Operations Center (TSOC). The TSOC’s mission is to provide 24/7/365 communication, coordination, intelligence, and domain awareness for all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) transportation-related security activities worldwide. ProSol will be providing watch officers for this 5 year contract, which is valued in excess of $8M over the life of the contract. Lockheed Martin will be providing subcontracting support to ProSol on this important effort.
Having three years experience supporting the Homeland Security’s Operations Center (HSOC), ProSol strategically positioned itself to compete for the TSOC solicitation. “The majority of the battle is finding the right people, and putting them in the right seat” claims ProSol’s CEO and retired Marine, Michael Dean. “Our quick and efficient recruiting process has allowed us to thrive in areas that support national security, so this contract aligns perfectly with our strategic vision and core competencies.”
Part of the company’s positioning included hiring a dedicated, qualified lead, Mr. Earnest Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell brings over 30 years of national security expertise and 20 years of operations center experience to TSOC, which most recently includes three years as a Watch Officer Team Lead at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) HSOC. He also has experience supporting operations centers at the Department of Defenses (DoD), U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM), Hawaii and Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico.
