Prime Start in the New Year
Professional Solutions (ProSol), a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) started off the new year with its first prime contract awarded as a SDVOSB set aside competition. The firm will be supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Washington Headquarters Services/ Information Technology Management Directorate (WHS/ITMD), located in the Pentagon. The four main tasks performed under this contract include Database Administration, Software Development Support, Database Information Assurance, Backup and Security Support and Database Applications Security Management Support. A top secret clearance is required for this contract. President and CEO of ProSol, Michael J. Dean is eager to fully utilize the new SDVOSB set aside provisions. “As this type of set-aside increase in popularity, we need to market our status and help to educate contract specialist on how to reach us. We need to get our name and our capabilities out there.” The Va.-based firm specializes in IT solutions and programmatic support, particularly in the cleared environment.
