Professional Solutions Sponsors First Annual Charity Golf Tournament

( Alexandria, VA) - Professional Solutions (ProSol) sponsored its first charity golf tournament on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. Supporting the Alexandria Red Cross, the event produced supporters from over two dozen government contractors and local businesses. Fort Belvoir Golf Club hosted the event, with approximately 85 golfers participating in the debut of the scramble-format tournament. The golfers, volunteers and sponsors each played a valuable role in helping raise money for those in need in the local Alexandria community. “Being in the military for many years, I have witnessed the benefits of the Red Cross on our military families, and I wanted to do something to return the favor, and help support future Red Cross endeavors,” Michael Dean, CEO of Professional Solutions stated on Wednesday. Because of the success of the event, Professional Solutions was able to hand a $7,000 check to the Alexandria Red Cross during the post tournament festivities.

Heroes for the Alexandria Red Cross is a community campaign designed to recruit individuals and groups to pledge to raise at least $1,000 for the Alexandria chapter. Individuals and groups are encouraged to involve employers, churches, civic clubs, schools, or other groups to support the fundraising effort.
