News + Events December 2003 Professional Solutions Awarded Second GSA Schedule In less than two years in business, Professional Solutions (PS) has been awarded its second GSA schedule, the first being just six month prior. PS was awarded its second GSA schedule — a Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) schedule — on December 18, 2003. Their first schedule, an IT 70 Schedule, awarded in July 2003, allowed PS to bid on IT related tasks. Now, with the acquisition of a MOBIS schedule, PS has a wider range of tasks they are eligible to support. The MOBIS schedule facilitates PS in providing customers with consulting services, facilitation services and program integration and project management services. Professional Solutions hopes the MOBIS schedule will allow it to expand its current customer base. The IT 70 schedule has already opened the door to several subcontracts for PS and it is hoped that the MOBIS contract will do the same for the service disabled, veteran owned small business. This is another step in the right direction for PS. Professional Solutions currently supports various DoD agencies such as the Marine Corps Combat Development Center (MCCDC), Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM) and the Terrorist Screening Center. PS has also formed partnerships with other government contractors, namely General Dynamics, EDO Corporation, TKC and SAIC.
