On October 13, 2011, ProSol was honored as a finalist for the 2011 GovStar Awards, which celebrates the achievements of Greater Washington's government contractors for their technological innovation, workplace environment, growth, veteran support and ability to overcome significant challenges. The award ceremony's gala affair, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Virginia, honored leading local government contractors who have demonstrated excellence in the categories of Technical Trailblazer, Star Workplace, Star Performer, Star Warfighter and Industry Star. LuAnn Dean, ProSol's president, and Michelle Geddes, the company's chief administrative officer, attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of the company. ProSol was a finalist in the Star Performer category.
