ProSol Supports "Build A House" Fundraising Event in North Carolina
ProSol supported PS Charities in the sponsorship of Eden Pearl’s “Build a House BBQ.” Hosted in Snead’s Ferry, NC, at the Harbor Site Bar, this fundraising event supported former reconnaissance Marine Special Operator, MSGT Eden Pearl.
While on his fourth combat tour conducting operations in the Herat province of Afghanistan, MSGT Pearl suffered traumatic brain injury and third degree burns on over 90% of his body after his vehicle was struck by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). As a result of the injuries endured, doctors were forced to amputate both of Pearl's legs and one of his arms.
Sponsored by PS Charities, the “Build a House BBQ” raised more than $40,000 for the Pearl Family. The funds will go toward building a custom house that meets Pearl’s disability needs.
ProSol CEO Michael J. Dean attended the event and was grateful for the turnout and funds raised for the Pearl family. "This event was a great gathering of friends of Eden Pearl, his comrades, brothers and sisters in arms, as well as people who simply wanted to help a wounded veteran and his family," said Dean. "I want to thank everyone for making this event an unprecedented success. Special thanks to our lead volunteer, Michelle Rademacher, for her superb effort, as well as our key volunteers Lindsey Orabona and Leidy Ortiz."
