Professional Solutions (PS), a service disabled, veteran owned small business (SDVOB) was recently awarded its IT 70 GSA schedule. The company was founded in February of last year by CEO and President Michael J. Dean, a former United States Marine. Mr. Dean has carried his specialties, including infantry weapons and Joint Services expertise, into his new venture.
PS started off last winter with 2 full time employees, and has grown to over 10 employees, as well as several additional part-time workers. The corporation is founded on the CEO's unique methodology of business. "I base my relationships on trust," Mr. Dean states. "I want every customer to give me a task and feel confident that the results will meet or exceed their expectations. In return, I only hire people I have a strong relationship with and who are hungry and eager to work. This leads to a win-win situation for all involved."
This philosophy appears to be working very well for the company. PS has revenues of almost $1 million in just its second year in business. By obtaining its first GSA schedule, PS hopes to catch the eye of any potential client looking to fulfill their IT needs.
Other PS Marine Corps customers include the Marine Corps Combat Development Center (MCCDC), and Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM). Other clients include the Naval Special Warfare Command, the United States Treasury and the United States Department of Agriculture as well as a few commercial clients.
Professional Solutions is also strategically teamed with other government contractors, namely, AT&T, who just won a $4 million contract for the Marine for Life program, EDO corporation, a Department of Defense manufacturer and provider of professional services and BE Meyers, a manufacturer of optics and lasers.
