Title: Data Librarian/Metadata Specialist

Professional Solutions is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position supporting FBI task force in the Counterterrorism Division that locates or tracks known or suspected foreign terrorists:

Requirements and Data Management Group (RDMG) by performing the following functions:

1. Metadata documentation – create and maintain metadata for data warehouse of fifty plus data collections, produce data dictionaries and other pertinent metadata (i.e. data metrics, trends, patterns, etc.) to be used as supporting documentation for operational analysts

2. Data Assessments – on an as-requested basis, provide the customer with independent, objective assessments of desired data sources

3. Liaison - provide liaison to Government agencies and vendors as well as Operational Units and Data Ingest Team in the collection and maintenance of customer data

4. Assist in the development of procedures and methodologies to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, eliminate redundancies, develop performance measures, and ensure processes meet valid data management and reporting requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Familiarity with information systems, databases, data management, and metadata

2. Excellent technical writing skills

3. Effective at working as member of a team

4. Proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE

1. Background in some or all of the following:

a. records management

b. technical writing

c. systems development

2. Skills in researching public source and/or Government data sources

PROGRAM/PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FBI task force in the Counterterrorism Division that locates or tracks known or suspected foreign terrorists.

Undergraduate degree (BS)

Years of Experience

1-3 years experience Law enforcement or intelligence community experience

Clearance: Top Secret
