Professional Solutions is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position:
Provides support for executing the budget. Supports storing and maintaining budget data obligated through a government system, providing the budget execution team with evaluation of funding needs, funds usage and developing tailored reports. Provides Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) support. Assists with the preparation and maintenance of CPIC program/project lists for capital investment projects under the control of the Investment Review Board (IRB) and CPIC Review Board (CRB). Support the recording of process and policy decisions. Maintains the Program Charge Code listing including the creation of new codes or updating Program Code status. Support the formulation and execution of the budget. Supports the storing and maintaining of budget data obligated by the budget execution team with evaluation of funding needs, funds usage and developing tailored reports. Provides analysis performs allocation plan changes and performs reconciliation of the allocation plan. Assists in ensuring that all changes to the allocation plan follows the rules created by the Budget and Finance Staff, effectively communicating with both the Budget and Finance Staff.Provides visibility of funding and cost status for CPIC projects. Provides assistance with the development of cost estimates. Maintains, updates, and develops CPIC team input for the monthly project execution reports. Provides financial reviews support for IT investments. Provides support for the development of monthly status reports on IT investments. Maintains and assigns budget related program codes as directed. Maintains the Program Charge Code listing including the creation of new codes or updating Program Code status and ensuring currently funded IT Elements possess a unique Program Code. Assists with the mapping of ABM model activities within Budget lines. Assists in the development and maintenance of an ABM model website. Assists with the development of the Office of Finance monthly cost report.
Education:
Possesses a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work financial management experience. Although not required, related certification (e.g., project management professional (PMP)) or a CPA is a plus.
Years of Experience
2-4 years Federal Government experience in IT program management environments
