Employee Successes
ProSol is comprised of a team of individuals who routinely look to support efforts bigger than themselves. Our employees do this in several ways, whether through community service, or corporate sponsored events. Oftentimes, the time and dedication involved in supporting these events is unimaginable for full time working individuals, yet somehow, they seem to find an extra few hours in each day to make these events a huge success. Below are just few examples of the support our employees provide to the community.
ProSol Supports Susan G. Koman’s Race for the Cure
On Saturday, June 7, LuAnn and Mike Dean, Beth Moss, Joe Chillari, Jim Wano, Jim and Eleanor Cooney, Shannon Gallagher, Lisa and Matt McKeon, Nick Biltz, and Sharon Stran all joined forced to support the national Race for the Cure.  Chris Wilk - MCCLL
Chris Wilk is an employee who does not need much guidance or direction at all. He knows what needs to be done, and often just takes charge to make sure the mission is accomplished quickly and accurately. His contributions to MCCLL it a better organization. At the strategic level he has done a tremendous job keeping the II MEF Commanding General and his key staff advised on MCCLL issues. At the tactical level he coordinates, leads, and participates in unit collections above and beyond the level of effort from other LnOs. Chris is a model for all other ProSol employees to follow.
Adam Coulon - TSOC
Adam’s CDO can not say enough about him and relies heavily on his experience, especially since his team is short handed. Adam’s customer service is excellent and he has a phenomenal attitude centered on teamwork. He recently received the title of a Master Communicator, which is very rare for non-government employees and is often the go-to guy during any major incident. He was the overwhelming selection as the February 2008 Watch Officer of the Month.
Steven Bowles - CIFA
Steve has gone above and beyond his job by assisting in several technical projects recently that has enabled Team ProSol provide outstanding service to our customer.
Sharon Stran – CIFA
Since Sharon joined ProSol she has done many great things in a very short period of time. Besides performing so well on her EA effort at CIFA and ensuring the potential for a prime contract for ProSol, she has participated in other marketing efforts. Her contributions give ProSol the ability to compete in a growing market.
Beth Moss - PS HQ
Beth always goes above and beyond the norm when working with employees in the company. She steps in to assist every employee with any HR issues, most times resolving them expeditiously. She continually places the needs of the company and all employees before her own. No mission too great; no task too small is her MO. Beth is always available to listen and provide guidance to those in need. Beth provides a “voice for the employees” in her role meeting with all employee sand deepening their commitment to ProSol and our goals, vision and mission. Beth always has a positive attitude and displays the ProSol values in all she does.
Jim Wano- PS HQ
Jim always takes time to explain the accounting and financial posture of the company and how each action affects this. Jim is extremely involved in the planning, processing and participation of the additional space being sought as ProSol expands; also offering his talents again to assist should the needs arise “build out” the space. Jim has spent countless hours reconciling and preparing for the financial audit. He is always available for counsel and exemplifies the ProSol values in all he does.
Scott McCarthy and Kevin Cassel - MCES
Both Mobile Training Team Instructors at the Marine Corps Engineer School, recently received spot awards because of the special recognition they received from the director of the school for their positive attitude and superior teaching skills while undergoing Mine Roller Systems training in Panama City, FL.
Josie Callahan - WWBn
As the Family Support Coordinator at Camp Lejeune’s Wounded Warrior Battalion project, Josie received a spot award for the administrative assistance she provided to the Director and Assistant Director of the South East Division during the preparation of the Wounded Warrior Battalion and II MEF Security Office proposals. Her hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.
Jeff Bonnick - CIFA
Jeff provided support to a nationally recognized effort directed by congress to stand up the DoD Joint Intelligence Operations Centers. Jeff’s support resulted in recognition and Letters of Appreciation from the Director of CIFA, James T. Faust, and from the Under Secretary of Intelligence, LTG (retired) James R. Clapper.
Nick Biltz - TSOC
Nick is pursing his Master’s degree through a very difficult program at American Military University, in addition to the mandatory TSOC training he has completed over two dozen FEMA Emergency Management courses. Nick can also claim a perfect work attendance. Nick has never missed a day of work in 7 months of employment and in fact has volunteered to cover countless shifts for people unable to work. Nick has constantly shown his dedication and loyalty to ProSol by his participation in events such as the golf tournament, book review, monthly meetings, blood drive and the holiday party.
Nate Pope - TSOC
Nate is performing at a level well above his peers. and is committed to the mission and the company and provides value to everything he touches. The fact that two senior supervisors at TSOC have nominated him is a testament to the professionalism Nate brings to this project. He talents and drive offer him to be a great future leader.
Joe Chillari - PS HQ
Joe often sacrifices time and effort seemingly beyond the norm for the benefit of the company and his fellow employees. His idea for storing and accessing the office supplies helped to minimize duplication and waste. His assistance in setting up coffee break rooms and supply shelves, etc. has improved the quality of life for the HQ staff. He is always willing to help and treats his coworker with respect.
Baetrice Richards - ABCD
Baetrice has worked tirelessly as the sole Army representative at numerous planning meetings regarding the Joint Tactical Radio Systems (JTRS). Her work on this system often extends well beyond the prescribed work day. On a Sunday while accessing email she was able to respond to critical request for information. She was able to contact Army decision makers and host an impromptu teleconference to resolve immediate issues regarding the JTRS program. She has prepared briefings for general officers/SES review often going above and beyond the expectations of the customer. Mrs. Richards continuously epitomizes the meaning of being a team player, ready to give more than what has been asked of her. She is a key asset to the Army Staff and a major league player for ProSol.
Sharon Stran - CIFA
Since Sharon joined ProSol she has done many great things in a very short period of time. Besides performing so well on her EA effort at CIFA, she has participated in other corporate efforts. Sharon played a key role when we presented to the other potential customers. She made a great presentation and created a bond with the Sr. Architect, possibly leading to more growth for the company. In addition, Sharon volunteered and made a significant contribution to the Toys for Tots Campaign by donating her time.
Ed Slavis - CAOCL
Ed Slavis, supporting the Marine Corps Center for Advanced Operational Cultural Learning, recently ran the Marine Corps Marathon, raising over $2,500 in support of the Semper Grati (Always Grateful) Fund to honor injured and fallen servicemen and women with a connection to the Naval Academy, whether as graduates or former instructors. The honor man for this year is Andrew Kinard, USNA '05, who is recovering as an outpatient at Walter Reed.
ProSol Runs for Charity
Beth Moss, Gary Goss, Mike E. Dean, Shannon Gallagher, Jim Wano, John Viarella all put on their running shoes in support of the New Orleans rebuild effort. The employees have been training together after work since August for the event, which was a huge success. This is the third running of this important event and has raised over $138,000 for New Orleans and Gulf Coast relief and recovery efforts! |
