The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund provides financial assistance and quality of life solutions for Marines, Sailors and other military personnel assigned to Marine Forces, injured in post 9-11 combat, training, or with life threatening illnesses, and their families. Their fund provides relief for immediate financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as perpetuating needs such as home modifications, customized transportation and specialized equipment.

The George Washington University Cancer Institute's Breast Care Center offers a comprehensive program for early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer, as well as services for those at high risk for breast cancer. Combining state-of-the-art technology with superior medical and surgical care, the center is staffed by a team of specialists who evaluate both benign and malignant breast diseases. The Center offers support services for patients and their families, including individual and family counseling, assistance with obtaining community resources, and support and education programs.

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is the 24/7 tragedy assistance resource for those who have suffered the loss of a military loved one. Founded in 1994, TAPS has established itself as the front line resource to the families and loved ones of our military men and women. TAPS provides comfort and care through comprehensive services and programs including peer based emotional support, case work assistance, crisis intervention, and grief and trauma resources.

 

Toys for Tots

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The Program’s goal is to provide a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
