United States Department of Labor (DOL)
ProSol provides a full range of IT support services to the DOL Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), including program management, capital planning, enterprise architecture, information assurance, software development, systems operations, network administration, database administration, and help desk operations for DOL’s financial, travel, and human resources programs. ProSol’s work with DOL financial systems in 2009 was instrumental in helping DOL achieve its thirteenth consecutive clean audit opinion and ninth consecutive Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting.
Patent and Trademark Office, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
The Patent and Trademark Office OCIO advises on application of IT to support and improve the USPTO’s business processes. ProSol provided business management support and program management expertise across all IT disciplines. ProSol provided analytical support, including Exhibit 300 generation, business case analyses, data calls, and process engineering and analysis. ProSol provided EA process design, EA governance guidance, EA maturity advancement in support of federal EA compliance, and earned value management direction and analysis within the system development life-cycle process. ProSol also created and managed a budget formulation methodology and advised on budgetary policies and procedures to ensure capital planning and execution were within budgetary and legislative constraints.
Marine Corps Internal Control Over Financial Recording (ICOFER)
The Marine Corps ICOFR faced challenges in bringing financial and non-financial feeder systems and processes into compliance with all elements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and OMB A-123. ProSol provides continuous support for the ICOFR and pre-audit services in the areas of IT auditing and information systems analysis; system data integration; process owner commitment; validation of program, budget, and execution; feeder system auditable compliance; and timely and consistent guidance of reporting business rules changes.
